Dolmades.

This dish brought to you (me) by the illustrious Mrs Janice Walsh.

Grape leaves, stuffed with rice, golden raisins, slivered almonds, onion, garlic and probably other things I'm forgetting. I'd never had homemade dolmades, but if you have access to grape leaves, you should absolutely try them.

Served with some of the best tzatziki (cucumber yogurt sauce) I've ever had.

  1. aw...thanks! It's Emeril's Kicked Up Spices mix that does it, I think. Three cheers for online recipes, even if one has to substitute almonds for pine nuts. And thanks for helping assemble them, or we would have "never" eaten. :-)

  2. Any time! Now I know how to do it. "Like a little Chipotle burrito." ;)
