Herring.
Pickled herring in wine sauce, served with white onion and dill. Not a big fish fan, and I actually prefer the herring that comes in cream sauce (to distract from the fish), but this is tolerable.
PFarrier had some of this to share at services a couple months back...I smelt it and it seemed appealing, but I daren't try....
