Two Hundred and Fourteen

Thursday, January 13

Mediterranean sandwich.

Pita stuffed with sliced turkey, lettuce, yellow bell pepper and chunky tzatziki. Sewww tasteeeey.

Two Hundred and Thirteen

Wednesday, January 12

Coffee Crisp.

The best candy bar in the whole world. And also 3 Musketeers.

The best Canadian candy bar in the whole world.

Layers of crisp wafer and coffee creme, all wrapped up in chocolate. This is one of my favorite things about Canada. Besides all the hipster thrift stores, draught beer, live indie bands, $5 comedy shows and every kind of ethnic cuisine you could ask for...you know, besides all that.

Two Hundred and Twelve

Tuesday, January 11

Chocolate eggnog.

Another Trader Joe's specialty that is only available at the end of the year. Snagged this right before they stopped carrying it. A combination of something I like (chocolate) and something I would adopt as my child if it had any human qualities, which I'm thankful it doesn't because then I couldn't drink it (eggnog).

Two Hundred and Eleven

Monday, January 10

Peppermint Joe-Joes.

Joe-Joes are the Trader Joe's equivalent of Oreos, and every year around Thanksgiving they have a special candy cane edition. It is my belief that these are the best kind.

Thanks to Mike for sharing with me.

Two Hundred and Ten

Sunday, January 9

Chocolate milkshake.

I love me some chocolate milkshake. I like to keep it simple: banana, ice, milk, chocolate syrup. Garnished with chocolate shavings.

Two Hundred and Nine

Saturday, January 8

Chai iced tea.

Really simple to make, just black tea and sweetened condensed milk. I found that the longer it sits, the sweeter it gets, so tread lightly with the milk. Very tasty, though.

Two Hundred and Eight

Friday, January 7

Tea.

A bit of bedtime tea just before...you guessed it.
