Two Hundred and Sixty-Nine

Wednesday, March 9

Cinnamon swirl bread.

OH MAN this is so tasty! Light, cakey and full of cinnamon sugar. Mmm thanks for the recipe, JenGlen!

Two Hundred and Sixty-Eight

Tuesday, March 8

Turkey sandwich.

I'm telling you. Sandwiches are what's up. Sliced turkey breast, brie, mesclun lettuce, cranberry sauce, tangerine zest, all on soft, delicious sourdough. Served with tangerine slices. Yeah. Mom knows what's up. Sandwiches.

Two Hundred and Sixty-Seven

Monday, March 7

Prunes.

That's right. Prunes. You know they're not called prunes anymore? Yeah. Dried plums. Doesn't matter, though. They're still delicious.

Two Hundred and Sixty-Six

Sunday, March 6

Meatloaf.

Juicy, tender meatloaf served with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed carrots. Carrots aren't my favorite but hey, two out of three ain't bad.

See what I did there?

Two Hundred and Sixty-Five

Saturday, March 5

"Spaghetti."

Mom's famous spaghetti sauce, served over cappellini, with parmesan and parsley. It's basically world-renowned.

Two Hundred and Sixty-Four

Friday, March 4

Pinot grigio.

Settled into a nice Friday evening with a glass of white wine. Good choice.

Two Hundred and Sixty-Three

Thursday, March 3

Cranberry sauce.

One of my mother's fancy cranberry sauces for turkey, etc. I think this one has brandy in it. And whole cranberries. Pruuudy good.
