Three Hundred and Fifty

Sunday, May 29

Steak & potatoes.

Grilled steak, cooked just right (although, when does Dad not grill a steak perfectly?) and grilled potatoes with sour cream and chives. Served with a tossed salad.

One Hundred and Ninety-Four

Friday, December 24

"Steak & potatoes."

Arrived safely at Oma & Opa's, just in time for happy hour and this delicious meal. Beef tenderloin with a toasted pecan beurre brun, puffed potato puddings and creamed spinach. Oma's food never fails to amaze, as many a mouth will testify.

One Hundred and Seventy-Seven

Tuesday, December 7

Potato leek soup.

Mom's brilliant idea. Potatoes, leeks, celery root, tarragon, parmesan cheese...this was Cream of Amazing. Served with garlic naan.

One Hundred and Seventeen

Friday, October 8

Steak & potatoes.

A nice dinner with the family. Grilled steak was the star, accompanied by grilled potatoes and steamed green beans, which I tossed with a homemade garlic balsamic vinaigrette. We washed all that down with a real tasty cabbernet soviggnun.*

*love you, Mom

Seventy

Sunday, August 22

Huevos rancheros.

Went to the beach and stopped at Pete's Breakfast House in Ventura on the way. If you like a tasty breakfast, this is a good place to go.
