Hot dog marinara.

Haha, yes. This is a hot dog smothered in marinara sauce and mozzarella and then broiled. And I'd do it again.

Tortilla pizza.

Yeah, that happened. Herbed tomato sauce and mozzarella on top of a crispy toasted tortilla. It was about as good as it sounds: really really good.

Rigatoni alla Vecchia Bettola.

A rich, vodka and tomato-based sauce, tossed with plenty of oregano, parmesan cheese and pasta. Served with broccoli.

I imagine George Hamilton is pretty rich, which would be the second thing he has in common with this meal, along with color.

Spinach cheese casserole.

A classic Anderson dish (something we have in common), this casserole features sausage, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, croutons, tomato sauce, herbs, and possibly most importantly, more mozzarella cheese. I mean spinach.

Props to Michael for providing it.

Eggs marinara.

YUM. Fried egg, seasoned with salt and pepper, on top of a bed of baby lettuce mix, covered in Italian-style tomato sauce (including basil, oregano, garlic salt, freshly cracked black pepper). Crunchy bread provides a perfectly contrasting texture.

I was sad when my plate was empty...
